Small Grant Opportunity – Proposals Due March 1

The Lakeshore Nature Preserve offers small grants – up to $1,000 – for undergraduates (or faculty, staff, and graduate students working with undergraduates) to use the Preserve for teaching, research, or outreach.

Review the Request for Proposals and see past awards.

The deadline for submitting proposals is March 1, 2025.

Questions may be directed to Preserve Director Brad Herrick at bradley.herrick@wisc.edu.

The Student Engagement grants are made possible by the Preserve Academic Endowment Fund established by former faculty member Professor Robert M. Goodman and the late Professor Henry Hart.

The Audubon Society UW-Madison received a grant to purchase binoculars for use during student-led birding outings.
