The Raymer’s Cove parking lot (2900 Lake Mendota Drive) will be closed starting Tuesday, September 24, 2024 for at least 4 days while the parking lot and adjacent trails are regraded for better erosion control. Please note, there will be no access to the Raymer’s Cove stairs that lead down to the water from the Raymer’s Cove parking lot until the work is completed. The Lakeshore Path between Frautschi Point and Wally Bauman Woods will remain open, and you can access the water from either end of this trail (see map below).
