Student Engagement Grants provide undergraduate funding for teaching, research, outreach in Preserve

The Lakeshore Nature Preserve offers small grants – up to $1,000 – for undergraduates (or faculty, staff, and graduate students working with undergraduates) to use the Preserve for teaching, research, or outreach.

Review the Request for Proposals and see past awards.

The deadline for submitting proposals is March 1, 2024.

Questions may be directed to Preserve Interim Director Laura Wyatt at laura.wyatt@wisc.edu.

The Student Engagement grants are made possible by the Preserve Academic Endowment Fund established by former faculty member Professor Robert M. Goodman and the late Professor Henry Hart.
