The Preserve participates in Bucky’s Big Event

To celebrate the investiture of Chancellor Mnookin, one of the series of special events is Bucky’s Big Event on April 12 — a service day where students, staff, and faculty can volunteer and engage with the community.

The Lakeshore Nature Preserve is honored to be one of the beneficiary’s of this day of service. Students, faculty, and staff can register to volunteer in the Preserve or with one of the other available opportunities here.

By participating in the first Bucky’s Big Event, you are creating a new tradition at UW-Madison focused on giving back and saying “thanks” to the Madison community! Direct service is a great way to give back, make connections with the community, and create lasting impacts.

Bucky’s Big Event is supported by: The Chancellor’s Office, The Morgridge Center for Public Service, and The Office of Sustainability
